With over two decades of expertise spanning Risk Management, Compliance, Fraud Management, and Labour Laws, I have spent last 10 years deeply immersed in Employee Relations (ER)—building and leading ER functions from the ground up.

When entrusted with establishing the ER function at PNB MetLife, I leveraged my cross functional expertise in Risk, Compliance, and HR to design and implement a 360° ER framework that included:

Policy & Process Design

HR policy formulation, SOPs, and documentation.

Investigations

Behavioural issues, employee fraud, POSH, and domestic enquiries—anchored in principles of natural justice.

Disciplinary and Governance Process

Issuance of all disciplinary letters centrally and managing the appellate committee to review the disciplinary consequences.

Risk Assessment

Developed a proactive ER risk model to identify and mitigate emerging concerns.

Capability Building

Organisation wide eLearning modules and awareness campaigns on ER and POSH.

Automated grievance redressal and disciplinary letter issuance, enabling realtime feedback, confidential tracking, and faster resolution. This innovation reduced manual errors, saved manpower, and positioned ER as a strategic enabler. Within five years, the ER function matured into an award winning vertical, honoured by People First as the Best ER Practice in BFSI (2022–23).

My certification in labour law management from XLRI Jamshedpur had provided me the edge and expertise in implementing new labour codes for enhanced compliance standards; proven ability to protect organisations from reputational, legal and compliance risks while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and employee advocacy.
